The Receipt Isn't Proof. Verifika Is.

Verifika confirms payments for businesses that get paid by bank transfer in Colombia. It reads the alerts the bank already sends —by email (Gmail or Outlook, read-only) and through the phone's own messages— and cross-checks them against the receipt the cashier forwards on WhatsApp: if it matches Nequi, Bancolombia, Daviplata, Bre-B and more, it's verified; if not, it stays unconfirmed or is flagged as a duplicate. It ships with a web panel, a desktop app and a mobile app, a voice-enabled AI assistant, accounts receivable, cash-flow metrics, team and branches, voice alerts, and an API, webhooks and MCP layer.

a little about Verifika

Verifika grew out of an everyday problem for businesses that get paid by transfer in Colombia: the customer shows a receipt on their phone screen and the cashier has seconds to decide whether that payment actually came in. Receipts are edited, reused and faked; the only real proof is the bank's own alert.

The idea is simple: let the bank notify Verifika, instead of the owner checking the app over and over. Verifika reads the alerts the bank already sends when money comes in —by email and through the phone's messages— and discards anything that isn't from the bank without storing it. It never asks for your banking passwords.

With that, every payment that enters the business gets a clear verdict: verified when it matches the bank's alert, unconfirmed while the bank hasn't notified yet, or duplicate when that same receipt had already been used. The cashier installs nothing: they just forward the receipt on WhatsApp.

It works with Nequi, Bancolombia, Daviplata, Davivienda, Bre-B, BBVA, Banco de Bogotá, Nu, Bold and Lulo, among others. It's built for neighborhood shops and for chains with several branches: bakeries, restaurants, stores and any register taking transfers all day long.

Around verification, Verifika handles the whole day at the register: what came in and what went out, who owes and how much, which payments look off, and real figures that the AI assistant reads from the business's own data instead of making them up.

Solution

We designed and built Verifika end to end: a web panel that also installs as a desktop app, a mobile app for iOS and Android, and the verifika.tech landing page, with all the content and the portfolio editable without touching code.

The core is the verification engine. We connect email in read-only mode —Gmail and Outlook, authorized on each provider's official screen and revocable whenever the owner wants— and the bank's text messages and notifications from the phone. Every receipt that arrives on WhatsApp is matched against those alerts and gets a status: verified, unconfirmed, duplicate or not found.

We built the WhatsApp bot so the cashier installs nothing: they forward the receipt and Verifika answers with the verdict. And we added suspicious payments, which gathers in one place the receipts that don't match a real payment so they can be reviewed before handing over the order.

We added accounts receivable to track store credit without a notebook —who owes, how much and since when—, expenses with automatic category and supporting document, and a metrics module with cash flow: what came in by day and by hour, the period's net and the margin.

We developed the AI assistant that answers business questions by text or voice —“how much have we taken in today and is anything off?”— looking at the real data, with a per-branch breakdown and alerts for what needs reviewing. And we added voice alerts that call out each incoming payment at the register.

We set up team and branches with roles —owner and cashier—, so each location sees its own figures and the owner sees them all together. And we made everything connectable from the outside: an API, webhooks and an MCP server so other tools —and AI assistants themselves— can read and act on Verifika's data.

The on-screen identity is Verifika green, accent yellow and a light background, with custom 3D icons and a responsive design tuned screen by screen, because almost everything is used from a phone, right at the register.
