a little about Good Samaritan Home Foundation

The Good Samaritan Home Foundation, located in Cartago, Valle del Cauca (Colombia), has offered a dignified home, comprehensive care, and spiritual support to elderly people, the sick, and those in vulnerable or abandoned conditions for decades.

Its story began in 1964 with the arrival of the missionary team from the Diocese of Manchester (New Hampshire, USA) and the tireless service of nurse Claire Aimée Ange Aucoin — affectionately known as Clarita. In 1998, her lifelong mission became a legally recognized foundation sustained by faith, international solidarity, and the generosity of the local community.

The landing page was designed to convey the home’s legacy of compassion, its current impact — more than 170 people cared for daily — and the importance of ongoing support through donations, volunteering, and partnerships.

With a warm and human-centered design, the site honors the story of the Home and makes it easier for visitors to connect emotionally and contribute to the cause.

Solution

We designed a narrative-driven landing page showcasing the Home’s history, Clarita’s mission, and its spiritual foundation through an elegant and visual timeline.

The structure includes multiple sections: a Hero area with Clarita’s quote and donation CTA, full history, mission and vision, daily activities, impact metrics, ways to help, and direct contact channels.

The design is fully responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop, ensuring accessibility for donors and visitors worldwide.

We strategically highlighted key donation information — bank account details, tax ID (NIT), WhatsApp contact, email, and physical location — to make supporting the mission simple and transparent.

The visual identity uses a soft, faith-inspired color palette that conveys warmth, trust, and sincerity, aligned with the foundation’s humanitarian and spiritual essence.

We structured all content to support future bilingual expansion (Spanish/English), enabling broader communication with international partners and donors.
